How the future of payment tools will benefit consumer behavior

Payment tools are becoming more advanced as companies try to reduce friction during payment to make it easier for consumers to spend money. Adyen CCO Roelant Prins says there will be a bigger shift to making payments as invisible as possible.

“Nowadays, it’s becoming easier and easier to identify yourself, either by facial recognition or other ways,” Prins said. “That enables a payment to happen in the background.”

Prins spoke during Techarenan Bright 2022 on the “How Tech is Changing our Society and Improving our Lives” panel.
