Teknikföretagen and Techarena in new cooperation for knowledge sharing in the tech sector

“Tech Forward” is a new initiative designed to enhance knowledge sharing within the tech sector. The initiative is a collaboration between Techarena and Teknikföretagen (The Association of Swedish Engineering Industries). As a first joint initiative, they are launching the “Circle Series” – a new forum for in-depth discussions between established industry leaders and tomorrow’s tech pioneers, premiering during Almedalen Week 2025.

“Knowledge sharing is critical to Sweden’s competitiveness – but what’s missing are trusted, focused forums for real dialogue. That’s why we’re launching Circle Series: a space built on insight, trust, and depth,” said Pia Sansvik, CEO of Teknikföretagen.

Connecting entrepreneurs and industry giants

The purpose is to make a real difference and create value for the participants. Each Circle brings together selected participants from across Sweden’s tech landscape – from established industry giants and cutting-edge tech startups to investors and academia.

“If Swedish startups are to grow at the same pace as those in Asia or the US, we need to get better at connecting them with industry earlier and more closely. That’s why we’re launching the Circle Series together with Teknikföretagen. It’s a way to blur boundaries, build bridges, and solve real problems together for real,” said Omid Ekhlasi, CEO and Founder, Techarena.

First Topic: Energy & Data Center

The first Circle Series focuses on energy solutions and tackles the question: “How can startups and the industry collaborate to develop future energy solutions, with data centers playing a key role?” Participants will meet regularly throughout the year to build on the knowledge and drive progress in their respective fields.

Following its Almedalen premiere, Circle Series will become a recurring part of Tech Forward’s community work, both in physical and digital formats. The concept will continue to evolve in collaboration with Tech Forward’s members.
